Yes. Both are managed by Supabase Auth. Organizers access the dashboard at app.mevent.io; participants use the event link (app.mevent.io/).

How does approval work?

If approvals are on, participants complete their profile first and see “awaiting approval.” Organizers review and approve/decline in the dashboard. Once approved, the participant can browse the directory, send connection requests, and message.

Can I customize the profile fields?

Yes. Add text fields, checkbox groups, photo upload requirements, and social links. Mark any field as required or optional per event.

How do connections and messaging work?

Participants send connection requests. Once accepted, they can DM. Organizers can also send broadcast messages to everyone in an event.

What are the participant limits?

Free allows 10 participants. Ultimate scales to thousands with tailored onboarding and support—talk to sales to upgrade. If a paid plan lapses, existing data stays but new sign-ups, new connection requests, and new messages are paused until reactivated.

Can I export participants?

Yes. Organizers can export a CSV of participant profiles (including custom fields) at any time.

How do upgrades work?

Upgrade from within the dashboard to raise the participant cap and keep messaging/connection features active. Downgrades or expired plans freeze new activity but keep your data.

Is participant data secure?

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Data is stored with encryption in transit and at rest. Only organizers of an event can view that event’s participant data.

Can participants delete their profile?

Yes. Participants can delete their profile from the portal, which removes their data from that event.
